1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out the rules for using the Navo platform. By using Navo you agree to this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
2. Permitted Use
Navo is licensed for use by:
- Individual property investors, renovators, and flippers
- Small development businesses managing their own projects
- Buyers agents and property advisors using Navo on behalf of their own clients (Portfolio plan)
- Property educators and content creators who use Navo to inform their own analysis
3. Prohibited Use
You must not use Navo to:
3.1 Unlawful activity
- Upload, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent
- Use Navo for any purpose that violates Australian law or the laws of your jurisdiction
- Process personal data of third parties without appropriate consent
3.2 Platform integrity
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from Navo
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorisation
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
3.3 Data and intellectual property
- Commercially redistribute, resell, or sublicense Suburb Insights data or any other Navo data
- Use Navo data to build a competing product or service
- Reproduce or publish Navo-generated outputs as your own research or advisory products
- Resell access to Navo without written permission from Yapa Technologies
3.4 Account integrity
- Share account credentials with users outside your authorised plan
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using Navo
4. Suburb Insights Data
Suburb Insights data is licensed for personal project use only. You may use it to inform your own property decisions and share outputs with your clients as part of a professional service you provide. You may not:
- Package or resell Suburb Insights data as a standalone data product
- Publish raw data tables from Suburb Insights publicly without attribution
- Use bulk data access for market research or commercial analysis products
5. Content Standards
Content you upload to Navo (project notes, contact details, documents, photos) must not:
- Infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
- Contain personal information of third parties without their consent
- Be obscene, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Suspend or terminate your account without refund
- Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities
- Seek legal remedies for damage caused
Suspension or termination for AUP violations forfeits any founding cohort discount permanently.
6b. Security Research
We welcome responsible security research. If you discover a potential vulnerability in Navo, please report it to hello@navosuite.com before public disclosure. We will respond within 5 business days and work with you to address the issue. We will not take legal action against researchers who act in good faith and follow responsible disclosure practices.
7. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this policy, report it to hello@navosuite.com.
7b. Affiliate and Influencer Promotion
If you are an affiliate of Navo or receive any benefit (commission, free access, gifts, or other consideration) for promoting Navo, your promotional content must comply with the ACCC's guidelines on testimonials and online reviews (updated 2024). You must clearly disclose your relationship with Navo in any content where your affiliate link appears or where you promote Navo. Failure to disclose may constitute misleading conduct under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Affiliate Programme Terms for full disclosure requirements.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy with 14 days notice for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
